Instant approval simply means your application for a new credit card will be review immediately by the issuers computer system.  The issuing bank has direct access to the three credit reporting bureau  statistics and will make a determination about your creditworthiness almost immediately. Your response will be either an acceptance message or a denial notice. In the event your are indeed accepted, as most applicants with decent credit will be, the final terms of your credit card may be delayed as a real human being reviews your information and sets the parameters of interest rates and credit limit.

Most credit cards, even beyond the one listed here, will provide a response in a very quick fashion.  Most even while you wait online.
