| Description | The Applied Bank® Secured Visa® Gold Credit Card is an excellent card for those with little or no credit history or a blemished or imperfect credit record. This is a “secured” card, so applicants must put down as deposit the amount they wish to have available as credit. But this secured card does not “nickle-and-dime” cardholders with processing or annual renewal fees. The Applied Bank® Secured Visa® Gold Credit Card features a very, very low APR of 9.99% for both purchases and cash advances. This card does not accept balance transfers, however. This is a very low APR for credit cards of any kind, and with the Applied Bank® Secured Visa® Gold Credit Card, your rate won't change, even if your payment is late! (You may be charged a late payment fee however.) The Applied Bank® Secured Visa® Gold Credit Card requires a minimum deposit of $200 and a minimum applicant age of 18 years. The maximum deposit (and therefore credit limit) is $5,000. You will not earn interest on your deposit, but there is no charge to open your account, either. Neither is there an annual fee. Monthly card payment activity is reported to the credit bureaus. The Applied Bank® Secured Visa® Gold Credit Card is an excellent card for those with minimal credit history or a imperfect credit record.
